I think i've built a very very good team, but it's just not producing. I think I need to trade some of my outfielders, but I'm not getting anything but junk from the folks I"m offering trades to. Plus, they all want Prior or Oswalt in the deal...
6x6 Roto - 10 teams. I'm currently in 4th place with 70.5 points. The #1 team is at 93 points, so the title is well within reach for me.
We start 1 player at each position for Bats + one Util. We start 2 P, 2 RP, and 2 SP for pitching.
Here's my team:
C - Lieberthal
1B - Nevin, Huff
2B - Hairston Jr.
SS - Tony Womack
3B - M Cabrerra
OF - Vlad, B Giles, G Anderson, J Bay, Podsednik, D Roberts
DL - Delgado, S Stewart
SP - Prior, Schilling, Oswalt, Zito, C Lee, R Wolf
RP - Dotel, F Cordero, Guardado, B Looper
Can I win the title with this team? If not, what do I need to do to improve.
Here are my rankings in the 6x6 Cats (league leader is in parentheses)
BATTING:
R - 7th with 387 (424)
HR - 6th with 94 (129)
RBI - 5th with 364 (405)
SB - 2nd with 59 (60)
BB - 7th with 237 (327) -- ouch
AVG- 5th with .283 (.311)
PITCHING
IP - 3rd with 601.1 (624)
W - 5th with 30 (44)
S - 2nd with 66 (69)
K - 1st with 536 (536)
ERA - 5th with 3.82 (3.30)
WHIP - 4th with 1.28 (1.24)

How are we supposed to answer your question? I don't know what the other teams have, in terms of where it would be possible to have a real shot at making up ground. You are also in a league with a couple of categories that don't get much play (IP, BB). The only thing I can suggest off the top is trying to move Podsednik to a team that needs steals in return.
I know one thing...if BB's count, then Bonds is such a valuable commodity in this league, it's an almost unfair advantage to whatever owner has him.
Jesus christ be patient. Dont expect 5 answers in 3 minutes or something. Well, you need to improve at 2nd and SS. Hairston and Womack will not get it done for you. That OF prolly looked killer at the beginning of the year, but slumps and injuries have hurt you. Your relievers and your pitchers are nice also. If I were you, I would try to upgrade at C, 2B, and SS. You could probably get a nice upgrade with a package with say Posednik in it. You can keep Hairston and Roberts and you will be fine in steals. You could probably deal one of the 1b too. You dont need 3 solid ones. Posednik+Nevin= say Tejada? especially to a guy struggling in steals. You still have Huff and Delgado, which is fine. It seems sort of odd that IP is a category, I think its not a very good one. Like is there a maxium amount? IP as a category heavily favors starters, which is why I dont like it. I hope my help is greatly appreciated.
GUYS-JUST GIVE HIM SOME ADVICE! HOLY X-MAS Your team doesn't look too bad. Like my team, you players are just under-achieving (some of them like Oswalt) and you have a 2nd half team. Your middle IF is weak though.
A player you may be interested in is Michael Young. He won't be as good as in April and May, but he is still a decent option who will certainly help your run total. I don't think he strikes out too often either.
Just ty to trade some of your strengths for your weaknesses and you should be fine. Good luck and you can always come here for advice!

I'm surprised you got any answers at all. We've been advising people to ignore posts in the wrong forum to help stop the problem of people posting in the wrong forum.
I'll move it where it goes though.
