Now we just sign a #1 pitcher this offseason, and another solid veteran starter and we should be good to go.
Of course, this year is shaping up nicely too.

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I think a few people may disagree with you here, but not me. I love this infield, and this franchise for that matter. I think they are gonna be great for years to come.
The scary thing is, they are almost just as good defensively as they are offensively. Young, Blalock, and Teixeira are defensive studs, and Soriano is an underrated defensive 2nd basemen.

Given that most people think he has bricks for hands, I guess this has to be true.

Very true, it's sad to think that people don't see the defensive range that he has. He's one of those guys that can make some of the most amazing plays you'll see, but then botch the easy ones...but overall, I have actually been impressed with his defense this year (I've watched a ton of Ranger games). It's much better than his reputation leads you to believe.

Maybe Soriano has finally learned how to play 2B. I haven't followed him closely enough this year to know. But if he is underrated it is because he has sucked in years past defensively. It's not like it was an undeserved stigma. Maybe he can finally shake it.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
