I picked this guy up last week and he has been great for me. He's getting wins, under 4 ERA, and a decent amount of K's. Is this guy for real or what?? I was looking at who he starts against next and if I read it right he plays the Yanks a couple times, then the White Sox...so very tough match-ups. What are your thoughts on him for the rest of the year? Time to trade or cut him, or what?

His strikeout totals make him a good fifth choice on several of my rosters. If he fades, no big loss.

Exactly. I pick my starts with him. I don't start him against the Angels, Yankees, Rangers or Red Sox. Everyone else is fair game. He's a solid sleeper @ SP.

If you take away his 2 starts against the Angels his numbers are equal to a #1 starter

minus 2 Angel starts (6.1IP, 14 ER, 3.00 WHIP, 3 K)

IP: 83.1
ERA: 2.59
WHIP: 1.08
K: 76

Not bad at all

I was able to sell high with big Nate and use him to acquire Garret Anderson a couple weeks back.
