An update on Delgado's rehab performance tonight (from Rotoworld):
Jun. 30 - 11:20 pm et
Carlos Delgado went 0-for-5 in his appearance for Single-A Dunedin tonight.
Delgado will rejoin the Jays tomorrow and take batting practice. He'll probably come off the disabled list on Friday.

Can't wait for Friday. I'm really itchin' to get this .228 8HR stinkbomb back into my lineup. Look out league -- here I come!
I'd ditch Delgado in a heartbeat if I could get any value back. I think his knees are worse than reported. I'd be DEILGHTED to be proved wrong, but I'd be surprised if he outperforms Palmeriro the rest of the year.

Ouch...0/5 in Single-A.
I guess Delgado will be riding the pine for a certain Mr. Mark Teixeira until he gets his groove back.

He'll be coming off my D/L and onto my bench until he shows me something.

Last night my wife asked me if I wanted to live out my fantasy.
I replied, "You going to trade me Scott Rolen ?!?!"

this just in
The Blue Jays have decided not to activate Carlos Delgado for Friday's game in Puerto Rico.
Delgado will play a second game for Single-A Dunedin tonight. He will then rejoin the Blue Jays for two days before heading to Triple-A Syracuse to play two games. It looks like he's now set to return on Tuesday. Jul. 1 - 3:02 pm et
