Not a houston fan but a Beltran owner, I hope they do close-in and he stays. looks like he's in the ideal spot for fantasy. Please don't let him go to the dodgers!!!

Dealing Beltran if Houston falls out of it is a pretty hot topic on sports radio right now and a real possibility. It would be right at the deadline if at all though.

His steals are going to drop off dramatically in Houston. Hes in the 3 hole now and has Berkman and usually Kent hitting behind him. Would you risk an out with those guys up? I think Beltran was overrated because of his steals. When was the last time he stole a base? I know he still has only 14, and Matt Lawton is doing better than him.

Same thing happened to Cliff Floyd two years ago--the Expos traded for him, and then dumped him to the Sox at the deadline when they didn't close ground on the Braves.
