LeCroy out...Morneau up?

Postby thehat » Tue Jun 29, 2004 10:45 pm

LeCroy may be headed to DL land again with a sore knee. Morneau would likely be recalled to DH. He's worth a pickup right now in daily transaction leagues as a spec. If it doesn't happen, you just cut him loose again. If he's up, you want him as long as he is.

I agree. He's outstanding and worth having in daily leagues if he is called up. But he's just so hard to manage. MIN monkeys with that lineup so much between resting Mauer and trying to find ABs for its OFers and playing musical DHs that unless they commit firmly to having him in the lineup, I'm a bit wary.

An MRI on Matthew LeCroy's left knee revealed no damage, leaving the designated hitter day-to-day,
LeCroy will avoid the disabled list. We'll let you judge whether or not that's a good thing for the Twins.
