I try to pick my catcher up off waivers to start the season as it seems there's always a dark horse or 2 that go undrafted ...

Got Javy last year and feared I'd gone to the well to often ...

Victor Martinez is my class pickup of the year so far - what a great hitter off the waiver wire - and having your catcher hitting cleanup is just ideal ...

Ya he was drafted in my league. My pickup was also a catcher, Johnny Estrada. Wow hes been putting up nice numbers for a catcher.

I had Posada and picked up V mart as a backup because the cafe was raving about him.....thanks to the cafe ;-D

I drafted him with the very last pick in the draft "just in case" Jason Phillips didn't pan out. 8-o

Martinez was drafted in my league but I got Livan Pavano, Penny, and Santana of FA list.
