Hairston Jr. 7 games RF, 7 games LF (Yahoo?)

My league does not use RF, CF, LF but rather just OF. So if Hairston gets one more game in either RF or LF that will make 15 total OF games. Will he then get OF eligibility, or do we have to wait till he gets 15 at either just RF or LF? Thanks!

i don't know if yahoo has changed this or not, but I there were a couple of players (i don't remember who) who had 14RF and 1LF appearances and did not qualify for the OF... i think they may need 15 at a particular position to qualify for OF.

He has to play 15 games at either LF or RF.

Yeah I really wish they would change that stupid rule for those of us who use OF. :-/

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Annoying. Hopefully he loads up on one side and gets OF elig before Giles gets back.

he is much more valuable as a 2B. If you need him in the OF then its gotta be a deep league.

Casting him to the wire could be a mistake, and as a bench player having OF and 2B is more valuable than just 2B. I'm worried that when the time comes for Giles to return, he's going to be super-hot and I will have an ugly cut to make.
