When did Yahoo start this crap?

Postby Baseballer02 » Tue Jun 29, 2004 5:24 pm

I still have Troy Percival on the DL on one of my Yahoo teams, so now they're telling me I'm not allowed to make any moves until I take him off.

There was a problem:
• A DL position on your roster is currently occupied by a player who is no longer on the real-life DL. Please edit your lineup to activate this player from your DL and then attempt your transaction again. (Error #173)

That's been around forever. It's a good rule too, so you can't take advantage of stashing players on your DL when they aren't really on the DL, until you feel like taking them off.

Yeah they've always had that.

Yeh - you can leave someone on the DL forever once they come off the DL, but you cannot pick up players off the WW - for that you have to remove him from the DL. I had the same problem this week so I had to wait an extra day until I could put Affeldt on DL and then pick up another player.

It's been there as long as I'm aware of. Personally, if a player is no longer on the DL, then you should have to take him off your DL the same day. Just how I feel about it. B-)

Agree, the DL should only be for those that are on the DL.
