First of all, why would Seattle have ANY interest whatsoever in Lofton or Bernie? They are old, deteriorating and overpaid. And in Lofton's case, he's a pain in the @$$. Seattle wants young players, something NY doesn't have.

Second of all, why would you want the Yankees to trade away Bernie? He's been one of the main reasons the Yankees were so successful. Forgive me, but I'm not the type to sell out the players that did well for me. Not to mention he's been having a hell of a year since his slow start.
