What happends if the Padres go on a home run tear? Does Sports Center play the TV replays with the play by play announcer making random noises, singing Rush, singing in (I swear it was) Chinese and speaking in some Elisabethian tongue rather than calling the shot or do they skip to the radio blips?
Do San Diego fans enjoy their play by play announcer? He seems to be sharp and knowledgeable about the game. And I could understand all the singing and odd lines if that was all the S.D. fans had for entertainment, but now they are a contender. Do they still need the announcer sideshow?
It's Matt Vasgergian (sp?) and Mark Grant...they are the worst. Lately they just whine about Loretta and Burroughs not getting any A.S. votes. I can't stand either of them as they are so one sided in their announcing.

I like those two clowns. Kuiper more than Krukow. Kuiper has the voice for play-by-play.
I get tired of the WS guys also. Don't know of the SD guy. Sounds annoying though.
Yeah, Kruk and Kuip...I can handle Kuip, but Krukow is the most annoying side-man this side of Rex Hudler!
I owned World Series Baseball 2k3 for XBOX and wound up muting the TV because Hudler was one of the announcers.
I know what you mean. When are the video game producers going to wise-up and just pay Vin Scully to do the commentary. I would buy that game just to hear his voice...regardless of how the game played.
