Just heard some new rumors involving the Mets ....

WFAN in NY is reporting PIT and NYM in negotiations involving Benson and Wigginton.

Boston radio is supposedly reported potential talks between BOS and NYM about Glavine.

I don't believe in the Glavine trade rumors anymore. Last week he was linked to the Yankees this week it's the Red Sox, maybe it'll be the Braves next week....

If the Mets decide to pack it in for next year I have no doubt Glavine would be traded because his value is so high. BoSox makes some sense because he is a Boston native and grew up a Sox fan. Not putting much stock in it either just throwing it out there. ;-)

Not concerning the Mets. There were only two teams last year who drew more revenue: Yankess and Red Sox. That's why I doubt they get Glavine although with Leiter, the Yankees are really the only option.

Glavine won't be a Red Sox as long as he's playing the way he is now. Steinbrenner will make sure that he won't go to Boston, even if it means taking on extra payroll....

I'm listening to WFAN right now and it sounds like Moyer is the Yankees man. Torre appears to like him because he's a lefty and pitches differently than his other righties to give teams another look. With Torre liking him, I think the Yankees will move on him if Seattle is willing...
