Bell's cycle tonight makes it 3 for this season. Does anyone know what the record is?

Here is a List of All Cycles. You could look through it and find your answer, normally I would do it, but its bed time.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

Stewie : [watching a baseball game] Why does that man drop his club before he runs? I would bring it with me!

The record is 8 (1933).

The feat has been acomplished 236 times (including the 3 this year).

Bob Herman (twice in 1931, 1933) and Bob Meusel (1921, 1922, 1928) share the record of most times at 3 with many players doing it twice.

Three teams (Padres, Marlins, D-Rays) have not yet had a player accomplished the feat.
