Most injured team

Postby FantasyNoob » Mon Jun 28, 2004 11:44 pm

Man, I know it's already been discussed that this is the year of the injury, but right now it seems like half of my only team is either on the DL, or has been missing games with regularity. Giambi's been missing games, Mora has, Jim Edmonds has, Uribe missed Sunday (just a day off I hope?) I also am missing Wood, potentially Sabathia who left his last start after 8 pitches, Valverde, and Affeldt who I just dropped. !+) :-t :-P

I realize only about half of these are top names, but STILL, what the hell? Some of you out there must have even more rotten luck. Make me feel better by listing players you have on one team who are all injured.

I was about to take over first place in my h2h league, then Vernon Wells, Kerry Wood, Beckett, and Marcus Giles are injured on my team and I start to fade away. It pisses me off because the first place guy keeps gloating, with one player on the dl by the way and he ain't good, as I sit there and take it. I'm looking forward to the playoffs when my healthy team mops the floor with him and I rub it in all winter. ;-D

I don;t understand

Let's see: Brown, Mora, Edmonds, and beckett all missed time last year too. So I don't see how this year is any worse than last.

Part of the game is dealing with players who get injuries. Sometimes, consistent players who are usually safe, get hurt. IE: B Giles last year and G Anderson this year. And are we forgetting the injuries last year and in previous years? I think so: Griffey, R Johnson, Piazza, Vlad, Beltran, Sosa, Mulder, Schilling, Oswalt, etc........ An all star team of injuries from last year. And those are just a small selection.
