If I were a manager on a contending team, I would despise fan voting. Now that the game actually means something, I would much rather have the hottest hitters at the moment rather than the stars who have proven more over their career. Afterall, the point is to win one game, not a series of games over a long time span. If the game doesn't mean anything, then yes, let the stars have every spot...but being that it does, give me the best players at the time.

I agree Thome should be higher but Pujols is one of the biggest stars in the game.
