It's not just Halladay.

Everything here in Jay land has gone wrong. Look at the line up alone. No Delgado, no Wells no F-Cat (The Jays are the only team that would be hurt by Cattalanatto being hurt).

Hentgen has lost 6 in a row and no one can figure it out. Batista has turned it around, but he's apparently on the block, Lilly had a terrible outing against TB last time out...

Toronto is turning into a Fantasy Black Hole. I wanted guys like Hinske, Halladay, Wells, Delgado and even Speier at the start of the year. Now I wouldn't touch 'em.

I say deal him now, while he's still worth something.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that his arm is shot. If I recall correctly he has pitched a slew of innings over the past 2 seasons, 239 in '02 and 266 in '03. This has to do something with his failures this season. Maybe that arm of his just can't take it.[/b]

He's on my list as one of the biggest busts of the season.

I don't see him turning it around. Hasn't shown anything to make me believe in him. :-t

Busts? Whats wrong with Halladay? Before tonights start he was 6-4 with a 3.66 era, thats pretty good in my mind. I hate to think what everyone thinks of Zito then. Here are some of the reason why he is not putting up numbers like he did last year: He pitches in a tough division, tampa bay is even good, 4 starts against pedro, no wells or delgado, a lot of innings pitched the last 2 years. Those reason will have a negative effect on any pitcher

I predict that Halladay will do well next year. I think he's going to have a tough time this year considering all the problems the Jays have had this year (as already listed above). I'd expect similar or somewhat better stats for the second half.

This past winter, in my keeper league, I traded Halladay and A Ramirez for Rolen and Abreu fearing exactly that all those innings pitched would catch up with him. Right now, it's looking brilliant.

At the beginning of the year I traded Brad Penny for Halladay and was pretty happy with that. A month later I debated but eventually traded Halladay for Konerko/A. Ramirez to add some pop to my offense. Looking back I'm glad I did.

Someone in my H2H league just traded Thomas, Texeira, and Eaton for him. What's up with that?
