Does he really have much more than speed? As for Rios I have heard enough about him to believe he is just having :growing pains" right now and that even though he's struggling will be better than Gathright in the long run.

Not to sound mean, but I answered everything you just asked already. Right now Gathright is just speed, plain and simple. In time he should hit around .300 w/ a good amount of sb's at the top of the line up. Rios however like you said has more potential then does Gathright.
