I have not been following him too closely, but suddenly he is available. He has been getting hammered, but does anyone have any confidence he can turn it around in the second half?

He hasn't been overly impressive. He has looked great at times but when his control is not pin-point accurate he has gotten hammered. I'm staying away for the time being.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

i picked him up when he first came back this year. he started off well including an impressive start against the angels but he has been horrible as of late.

i dropped him after the last start. considering he came back from a major injury, his arm might be shot for the year.

I don't have alot of confidence for him in the second half...might be good for a few spot starts...but nothing you can throw consistently... :-/

I dropped him in both my leagues.
I've watched all of his games. He doesn't walk anyone. Instead he throws a meatball right over the plate. His sinker isn't sinking, but his fantasy value sure is.

He still has value in AL only leagues.....and he'll improve as the season goes on, as he's still recovering from TJ surgery...and he's on the Yankees who are capable of giving anyone a 7-0 lead to work with...
