He did have to go against the White Sox. . .they have a couple guys who can sort of hit.

Probably a good move by both. WS are trying for now, and Garcias hot. Seattle needed Olivio and Reed, as they are a very old team. I do agree that Garcia could see a era rise, but his wins should rise too.

i agree the wins could prolly increase his overall value in most leagues... just that theres very little/no room for him to get better elsewhere. something to keep in mind if you kinda have a diff. league setup or you dont need wins etc...

as for the overall deal, i think the White Sox kinda losr out especially since Garcia is basically a rental (they offered him a contract before the deal went down but he declined). Reed is pretty good as far as i know... Olivo still has room for improvement even in Safeco.
