Just a casual observation from a novice, but Randy Winn is not the same hitter as he was just a month ago. I don't remember seeing anybody as uncomfortable at the plate as he was for the first couple months of the season. He looked confused be every pitch.
Now, its different. And its more than just the average. Something has changed mentally, I'm convinced.
I was at the game last night and he stands in the box with confidence. You can tell that he now believes he'll get a hit every at bat. If it weren't for the name on the back, I'd swear it was a different player. This isn't to say that anybody around him is going to catch the same thing and provide some support for runs or RBI's. Boone, especially has the deer in the headlights look now. But if anybody else on that team decides not to cash in their season, Winn could regain a little value fanstasy-wise.
Blessed are the cheesemakers.
