Should I ask my league to veto my pending trade?

I have a pending trade in a Yahoo Public winners league. (5x5 scoring)

The trade has me giving Vlad and Dye for Abreu and Gagne.

The problem is when I offered the trade I was hurting for closers and really was trying to get a top closer. Can't get any better than Gagne right?

Well a couple things have changed since I offered the Trade.

I picked up Lidge who rotoworld is saying could be top 10 closer here out.

I also got Chad Cordero who has been great of late could turn out to be a good closer.

Herges has seemed to be doing better and I also have Valverde on my DL spot.

Getting Gagne I would have a lot of closers more than twice most teams.

Now today my luck gets even worse.

Harden goes down and could be out a month or more.

Hudson heads to the DL and will be out at least 2 starts (one was going to be against the Angels, not going to miss that one)

Odalis Pérez gets taken out of game early now.

so 3 of my best pitchers will be out.

Look at my remaining healthy starters:

Freddy García
Brandon Webb
Adam Eaton
Jose Contreras (been on my roster 2 days)

So considering where I am at, should I ask my league to veto this trade?

Then maybe I can trade for some pitching.

I think I would only need 3 more votes, since it looks like I can vote against it myself.

Maybe you can turn around and trade Gagne to someone who needs a closer for a starter. But you're stuck with it, so make the best of it.

Who else would vote though. That is certainly not a trade most would jump up and down over and veto.

no. there is no way that you can ask them to veto a fair trade, just because it doesn't suit you.

Don't be a puss and try and get it vetoed. I'd hate to be in your league if that trade gets vetoed.

Boo hoo. If you're man enough to make the trade you should be man enough to accept how things pan out afterwards.
