Odalis Perez injury

Left today's game after five IP with what is being called a strained rotator cuff.

No info beyond that, but just the mere mention of those two dreaded words is at least a cause for concern.

There had to be some reason he came out after 71 pitches. That's scary.

they interviewed the pitching coach right after he came out, "tight shoulder" were, I think, the exact words.

btw hat, I could use a hand....

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...Odalis has carried me...I thought there was nothing wrong and complained about him being taken out early, because Yahoo didn't have anything on it. This would just be devestating. If it's just a tight shoulder, he may be okay...but it's probably more than that. :~( :-t :-t

The strained rotator cuff was reported by Rick Monday on the radio broadcast.
