Teammate Paul Lo Duca said he expects Eric Gagne to receive a one-or-two-game suspension for his actions Thursday.
''I'm sure there will be something [in terms of a suspension],'' Lo Duca said. ''Eric was pointing right in the umpire's face. He realizes that's something he shouldn't do.'' Gagne's take on a possible suspenion? ''They'd better not. It would be totally stupid.'' Jun. 26 - 9:29 am et

It was against the Giants. Gagne threw alittle high about a foot for MIke Tuckers head. Tuckers gets all pissed. Then lol Gagne drops him glove and says lets go. Ump get in the way Gane points alittle. Wasn't that big of a deal. Gagne would kick Tuckers ass I big. DOn't mess with big Candians.

I don' think thats the pointing that Lo Duca was talking about. After he found out that he was ejected Gangne got pretty pissed and got right in an umps face and was pointing and yelling at him . It looked like he almost touched him. Then Beltre quickly pushed him away from the ump.

Yes, don't mess with Big Canadians. They live in the woods and chop down trees so their muscles get real strong. Then they play hockey and fight people all the time. Then, they drink beer at the bar and get into fights there too.

Generally, I don't feel players should get suspended for arguing with an umpire. They should get thrown out of the game if they don't abate. What I saw as a mistake for Gagne was coming down off the mound to approach the batter. That kind of unsportsmanlike behavior is a negative image for Gagne and baseball.

Tucker over reacted said some poo to Gagne. Gagnes like no problemo lets go. Like I said don't mess with big Canadians. And what the hell is wrong with fighting really. Now if Gagne or Tucker pulls a gun....big problem. Nothing wrong with a fight now and then.

I thought gagne did bump the ump when they were argueing. It looked like it when he got right up to him. Also his continuing arguing and walking towards the batter will probably get him that one game if he didnt bump the ump.
