Good and Bad 2nd half players

I thought this would be a good place to put who does well and who gets worse in the 2nd half of each season.

I'll start by saying the Jorge Posada usually ends slow.

It's not that he ends slow, it's just that he sits a lot because they are guaranteed a playoff spot. No need to run your best players into the ground before the playoffs.

Good point about posada. And you can name as many players as you want.

I think one of the best 2nd half players ever is sheffield. I think last years winner of that award was Carlos Lee. He carried my team to the championship round (where I lost for the third year in a row)
