should I try and trade sosa, i think he might get hurt again, i dont see him hitting as many homers during the 2nd half, what do you guys think of Sosa the rest of the way???
It's a trade question. The worst is people who try and pass trade questions off in this forum by changing it around?
"Who do you think will have the better year? Sosa or Burrell?" or something like that. It's obviously a trade question, but the person words it like that and then complains when we say it belongs in the trade forum. They'll respond with something, "Wat da hell, dudez? I jus wantcha to rate Slammin' Sammy next 2 Pat da Bat. Not a trade, u Nazis. OMG OMG"
I would try and dump sosa, but you won't get much for him. I do think, if healthy, he will put up some nice power numbers in the second half. His average will be down, along with total RBI's. He's turning out to be a real bust from where i saw him drafted at the beginning of the season.
By the way, did any of you see him get thrown out at home last night? He was on second and patterson hit (yes, he actually made contact) a ball off the wall, Sammy must have been asleep because edmonds relayed to hector luna (who?) who then made a mediocre throw up the third base line and matheny still had time to reel in the ball and tag a gingerly (more like pansy) sliding sosa who looked like rich gannon avoiding a hit from urlacher. I'm a Cardinal fan, and I was sitting next to a cub fan. We both agreed, it was a bonehead (we used different words, but bonehead will suffice for this forum) play. I have been long tired of listening to Sammy's mouth, and now, it seems like that is all he has. His torch fuel is running out. But he still sells tickets, and cub fans are stuck with him. Fantasy players are stuck with him too, because the return value would be too little to dump him.

How do you spell "biased?"

yeap, story of my life... i wanted to use his cheapness to get a value-priced nearly guaranteed 40 HR bat, but the injury bug became a big factor... he was .284/10/24 and looking like he'd be .275/18/50 by now if he wasnt injured, but oh well. it sucks when you set that up for all of your squads.
at least i have vlad on all of my squads now, phew =D

actually, Sosa got fooled on the play by Edmonds....who pretended to be able to catch the ball...and then Waving Windell Kim made the blunder to send Sosa home.... ...Kim should have held him at third...
And yes Sosa's value is dropping...
