Ack, not sure why I put Vizcaino in the SS spot over Everett. Even then it seems silly to push ABs for Everett by droppping Bagwell back into the 6th spot.

I agree, but Jimy Williams rides the short bus.

i also thaught at first that Everett would move down and Beltran would hit 2nd.. but i like this more from a fantasy perspective. i doubt he wouldve run significantly more hitting 2nd rather than 3rd cos he still woulda had Berkman, Kent. etc, hitting behind him.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

the reason beltran will steal less is that the astros are near the very bottom of the major leagues in stolen bases...23 all year...and they play on a little league field (not yankee stadium)...i would not count on a big boost in rbi's either...although hitting 3rd should help some...let's not forget he will be in the national league with a pitcher batting 3 spots in front of him and craig biggio and adam everett aren't exactly the best guys to have hitting in front of him. i expect a few more homers, a slight increase in rbi's & runs, a small increase in average, but a significant decrease in stolen bases...i say his value takes a small hit...i still want him on my team though.
