What's all this talk of Gathright as a 2B? The only thing I've ever heard is he's an OF who might DH for TB since they already have 3 OF's. Just cuz he's small doesn't mean he can paly 2B......but maybe there's another reason for the assumption he will play IF.......
Either way, in a keeper, grab him. He could be near the league lead in SB's when he gets his chance at full playing time.........this guy must have extra muscles in his legs. He can jump over an entire car, even lengthwise. It's in his contract that he's not allowed to do it anymore, though
But I'm worried that it'll just be until Cruz and Baldelli return (I didn't know either was injured).
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

I just thought he might play second because the only position he is eligible for in my CBS league is 2B...
And as for dropping Reggie Sanders, I have Manny, Sheff, L. Walker, G. Anderson, Maggs, and Finley as OF's, and have Beltre and Reyes as Utility players...don't really need Sanders, but I do need lots of steals so thought it was worth a shot. No guts no glory!

I'm not sure but it's possible 2B was Gathright's first position (Miguel Cabrera was listed as a SS by Sportsline last year).
He's an OF now....but is listed as a 2B by Sportsline.
