As per Rotoworld, Gathright will be activated today from Durham. Anyone going to pick him up looking for steals? Doubt they'd bring him up if he wasn't going to play.

Wow, though I noticed he sat out a couple of the past games, surprised by the move with Cruz (and D'rays in general) playing so well. Only thing I can think of is their looking to deal him or one of the other OF's (Crawford's name has come up the most frequently).

Saw him a couple times at Durham and haven't seen any guys ever faster than he is. I think he'll go through the same offensive struggles Crawford did upon arrival and IMO will be sent back down (if an OF isn't dealt) at some point.

I noticed that too....and I'll be watching him closely. I'm confused as to how they are going to find PT for him. DH once Fred gets his 500th maybe? I don't see them benching Crawford, Baldelli, or Cruz. Hopefully they find a spot for him though, I wouldn't mind picking him up.

Even if he does get very limited playing time, he'll get steals during that time...which is what I need.

By the way, why would they need to move an OF for him....I believe he plays 2B.
