Shacon sucks, for anybody that didn't know. And now they are thinking about putting in Reed and a no talent no name as closer. Fuentes is on the DL, so...what are they gonna do??? Trade??? Think Mota, BKim, Ryan, Williamson (probably not), what about Mike Williams??? He's not playing anywhere, and couldn't be worse than Shacon. I'd like to see how far the balls would go in Coors with Koch closing!!!!hahahaaha. Think Helton can pitch??? jk lol.

Chacon was reinstated as the closer before he even lost the job. They're evidently compelled to stay with this all season. Actually, I don't blame them. Not like a blown save or six is going to cost them a playoff spot, so may as well see if he gets better.

Odd that this thread would start after Chacon has saved the last two games. Recorded a shaky save on Wednesday, and a much better one on Thursday. I doubt anyone takes his spot right now.
