I get a kick out of listening to some of the wild conspiracy theories out there. Tonight on the Discovery Channel they did a show on those who claim the U.S. never landed a man on the moon, that it was faked. They interviewed all these guys and then showed how all their theories were pure fantasy.
Another one I get a kick out of is UFO's. I'm undecided, but open minded on the issue. There were some very credible witnesses to the Roswell incident that tend to indicate that at least some of the story was true. What I really have trouble with is alien abduction. Why is it that aliens coming here to study our race never abduct astrophysicists or any other kind of scientist, or any of our leaders, or people of prominence in any field of endeavor for that matter - why do they always abduct Ethel and Clarence, who don't have a dozen teeth between them, their combined IQ's don't reach triple digits, they haven't been employed since LBJ created the Great Society of social welfare, and they live in a trailer park in South Carolina?

I don't know if Aliens exist, and if there are such things as UFO's, but the thought just sends chills down my spine. Stuff like that just freaks me out. I was probably the only one who thought "Signs" was the freakiest movie ever.

And I saw this show a while ago and mentioned it in another thread with some fool that insisted the lunar landing was a fraud. They showed step-by-step how everything the conspiracy theorists used as evidence was nothing more than garbage.

Anyone see that Bryant Gumbel 2 hour special on Roswell a week or so ago? Quite interesting. Certainly the most intriquing and plausible of the UFO cases - there definitely were some witnesses who seem to be credible, believable and knowledgeable - something lacking in most UFO witnesses.

the site basically goes along with the am radio show that airs from 1-5 am est... since i work on an on-call basis 24 hrs a day i usually listen in whenever i'm at work late at night... it's a pretty entertaining show and believe me, it's scared the living shite out of me on more than one occasion...
and no, i have no affiliation whatsoever with it...
