I disagree that he is one of the best of all time.

You must be blinded by Bonds hatred then. He has been the most dominating offensive power hitter since Ruth. He has been the most dominating power/speed player since Mays. He is an 8 time gold glove winner and 6 time league MVP. Hate him for his attitude or dismiss everything for steriods is fine with me, but based simply on his accomplishments Bonds has been the biggest threat to Ruth's "greatest ever" label.

Roids aren't going to help you if you suck at baseball. They aren't going to give you hand-eye coordination and they aren't going to perfect your swing. Barry Bonds is a great hitter, roids or not. However the thing I am angry about is that he is about to break/has broke historic records. If Bonds wasn't about to become the all-time homerun leader, people would give alot less of a damn what he was using.

Bonds is a hall of famer without roids, but not a top 10 player all-time like he is mentioned as now.

What does it matter what exactly do roids do for you? I dont think anyone of you know unless you play probaseball and use steroids. Fact of the matter is if he´s using steroids he was cheating. Doesnt matter how good he is or how good he couldve been without steroids, if he was cheating there is no way im gonna mention him with the best hitters evers just as no one will ever mention ben Johnson as the fastest man ever

Its funny how it works out that way so often. Cobb, Hornsby, Williams were all pretty much hated by either their contemporaries or the fans.
