In the meantime, Duckworth allowed just one hit and struck out five in 4 1/3 innings for Class A Clearwater at Dunedin after opening the season on the disabled list. Officially, he'll make one more rehab start Friday at a minor league location to be determined, but the Phillies have left the door open a crack to skip that step and have him make his next appearance out of the big-league rotation. Wendell pitched a hitless inning for Clearwater on Saturday.
this would be a nice pick-up if others dropped him and those that were patient and had him on the DL should be pleased, he could make a big difference in the line up if healthy....
