EDIT: Balloting for Starters has been closed. See PAGE 6 for the results and for the BALLOT TO VOTE FOR THE RESERVES. VOTE NOW!
With all of the arguements about the fan voting on All-Stars and someone's suggestion, I figure we should make our own team of just starters for now. (I haven't seen this topic started yet)
I've been trying to think of the best way to go about this, and I guess we could all fill out our own ballots, and the players that get the most votes at their positions earn a starting spot. I'll write the ballot out and hold off on filling it out myself for a little while so as not to impact the votes from the beginning.
Hopefully after about 20 replies, I'll be able to go through and compile the votes.
When we get closer to the game and after our starting lineup is finished, we can go on an add in the reserves and pitchers.
Due to the voting thus far, I need to add that players like Pujols may only be voted in at the position at which they play this year. In other words, Pujols is ONLY a 1B, he is NOT an OF because he hasn't played there this year.
Voting should be based on the position they play most this year and not on fantasy eligibility.
One last thing (which should go without saying). This is NOT a popularity contest. Please put prejudices aside and vote for the players that most DESERVE to be on this team.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
