Mantle has hit the furthest in a MLB game............564 or something like that I think.

I also read a while ago that a player in the negro leagues hit one further, since the spot he allegedly hit it to was measured from home plate to be closer to 600 feet. Not sure how credible that is though. Nothing against negro leaguers, it's just that documentation wasn't the best for those games.

Bo Jackson hit a homer in the kingdome in Seattle that landed near the Ambulances. After the ball stopped rolling it was estimated to have traveled over 800 ft.

LOL, wtf are you talking about dude?? The kingdome had a roof and is enclosed, unless you're talking about the ball hitting a wall and rolling around?? And if so, I really hope you don't count that as the distance he his a homer...

Because like dude, Bonds hit one over 2000 feet! Oh, well i'm counting the fact that he hit it in the stands at 400 feet, a fan caught it, and walked around with it for another 1600 feet before leaving..

Frank Robinson hit a homerun 648 ft.

It left memorial stadium and landed in the neighborhood adjacent to the stadium

If it were humanly possible, I might believe it. Alas, that's about 100 feet further than anyone has been proven to hit a ball.

Farthest I ever saw was in a minor league game about 30 or so years ago. Catcher by the name of Tom Maggert (who tragically got cancer and died before he ever got to play in the bigs). Huge guy, about 6'6"...he blew one out of the park in dead center and it landed around second base in an adjacent field. Roughly 550 feet on the fly. He did have a prevailing wind on this evening, but it was still a monster shot.
