I can't speak for some of those movies because I haven't seen them but of all that I've seen here are my favorites.
Saving Private Ryan
U-571
Glory
The Dirty Dozen
Kelly's Heroes
Full Metal Jacket
Apocalypse Now
All Quiet on the Western Front
I can see how some would not like Apocalypse Now. I had first seen it after reading "Heart of Darkness" in college. That made it a lot more interesting because we had discussed all the various levels of symbolism in the story. Also intersting is the documentary about the filming of Apocalypse Now. It chronicles the absolute chaos that ensued with making the film. Between nervous breakdowns, heart attacks, and a ballooning budget, its really amazing that movie ever was finished.
Worst movie: Pearl Harbor. I'm not going to get into it but this was probably one of the biggest pieces of cinematic garbage ever put together. Its just sad that when someone finally took a chance to make a movie of that historic event they had to sap it up with a cheesey love story with Josh Hartnett and Ben Affleck, two terrible actors. Why stop there? Were Chris Klein and Keanu Reeves unavailable?
Maybe because they're all meant to be controversial so people will eMail him to complain, and then he'll go and make fun of those eMails. He's Howard Stern on the internet, with better grammar.
And I have no ulterior reason to not like him, it's not as if any of those crappy movies were on my list that I liked.....it was Rkiivs who said Braveheart.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
