A note about Mike Sweeney...

If you look at his stats right now, he is hitting .256 with 10 bombs and 40 steaks. He is a career .303 hitter, so i see no reason why the average wont increase. The K to BB ratio is nearly identical to what it has been in the past, so i see now reason why his average wont go back to standard, plus he is on track for around 30 dingers and 100 RBI's. Maybe now is the time to buy low on him due to his low avg. i gotta believe that he will follow suit and hit close to, if not higher than .300.

yeah, in got him on a few but im still puzzled.. the thing that worries me is that hes not walkin and having shorter AB's and he has done well whenever hes shown patience.

another thing that sorta i cant figure out is that why is he poppin up so much ????

also the second Beltran leaves KC, Sweeney's ribbies go down.

anyways, i hope youre right.. his value's real low right now, the 250 and the injury risk really scare people off. i wouldnt mind too much buying low on him right now cos of his track record. ;-D
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
