Tough call. Do you want power or average? Power...go with LeCroy (the Twins don't seem too keen on calling up Morneau this year). If average, go with Mauer.

I thought Mauer is the one at risk to get less AB's. He hasn't played anywhere except behind the plate, has he? I expect LeCroy will get the vast majority of DH AB's, as well as some time at first and catching. They've both hit a dinger every 15 AB's or so, but judging by minor league numbers, its hard to believe Mauer will maintain that for long. I got them both on a team that I wanted to try two catchers for a while thinking that at least one of them would be in every game....then the Twins managed to kill that at least once this week. I like them both, but think that we'll get more AB's out of LeCroy. He's only sitting this week because his knee is sore and there's no DH.
Blessed are the cheesemakers.

LeCroy for this imo this year... he hits in the middle of the order.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

I don't think it will be long until Mauer is hitting in the 2nd spot...at which point I would take him over LeCroy.

I'd take Mauer but again he can't hit lefties at all so only start him vs. right handed pitchers

Until they move Mauer from the bottom of the lineup, his RBIs are going to take a hit.
