Poor AJ Burnett

Postby Yikes » Sun Jun 20, 2004 12:44 pm

From Rotoworld:

A.J. Burnett was involved in a minor car accident after yesterday's game. Burnett, who is scheduled to start today, did not sustain any injuries in the collision. However, while standing by afterward he received several ant bites to his right foot. "My foot is on fire right now," Burnett said. Burnett's luck does not appear to be the greatest right now, hopefully it will change with today's strt against the Rangers. Jun. 20 - 11:10 am et

Imagine if they had placed him on the DL for this and listed the reason as "Ant Bites"?

Hahaha that may top even Garrett Anderson's "matress accident".

I hate those little fuggin' fireants. Make my feet itch for days and days.

I'm glad AJ had a great outing though.
