What do you think of this kid? He didn't play much last year after coming back from Tommy John surgery and he's been banged up this year. He's 2-2 in 28 IP with 25 K's, 2.89 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and a .245 BAA
I just grabbed him to fill a bench spot on one of my teams as he seems to have some potential. What do you think he's capable of this year???

This year I think he'll be OK at best. But he is still learning, so I like his chances to be pretty good next season. I don't know if you are in a keeper league or not.

No, not a keeper league - I just had some deadwood on my bench I was clearing out and thought I would put this kid on there and keep an eye on him for his next few starts and see how he does. Don't know much about him, that's why I was wondering if anyone else has any predicitons about how he might fare this season.

I'd say he's a bad choice. IF things go great for him he'll have an ok whip/era but mediocre run support and he's not a big K guy. He doesn't really give you a strong showing in any stat. There has to be someone better on teh FA wire than him, a better risk at least.

he is not a bad Pitcher. League average at worst. If you are able to watch your matchups with him, he might give you some nice results. I just don't see Milwaukee keeping this up, which could sap him of a few wins and you have to figure half his starts will come in Miller park.
Dodgers FAIL, Mets FAIL, Canada FAIL.
