2 HRs in the last 2 games!
I'm sure glad I held onto Vidro........patience is a virtue, my friends!
But shhhhhh, don't jinx him

I'm not a Red Sox fan, I have no reason to believe in jinxes.

I will wait another week before I would say he is back to his all star form. However, his June number show that he is still alive and might mean he is actually going to produce this year.

very true.. every time theres a thread 'bout dropping a good player just cos hes in a slump.. you can just say that "hes gonna come atound" and you'll be right 95% of the time.. btw you could see Vidro coming along from a long way.. there was nothing wrong with his swing just that he was putting the ball in play but hitting straight to the all the fielders plus the he had absolutely no support from the linup.. maybe we all can send a "thank you" card to Nick Johnson
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
I'd like to thank some of the Cafe faithful for encouraging me not to drop Vidro before the All-star break.
I drafted him and it's a miracle he is still on my team. I have almost dropped him at least 20 different times, including once for K. Ginter! I have more recently been platooning him with J. Hairston, JR, but have started him the past week and he's hitting doubles and scoring runs.
