I know Pavano was better then Loaiza was before he was reallyh good last year, but Pavano is amazing this year. 7-2 2.80 ERA is pretty amazing.

I don't care why he's doing so well. I got him off the waiver wire at the beginning of the season and after the sorry performances of contreras, webb, and eaton Pavano is one of my few pitching bright spots.

You mean Alyssa Milano? Indeed she is. She was a cutie when she was younger. Had Pavano and dropped him but he has been pretty amazing. Damn it! He does this after he leaves my Expos.

Yeah so is Tiger's and look at how bad he's doing these days.

Pavano did pitch very well for most of last year as well. The only reason I didn't rate him higher was because he has thrown an awfully high number of pitches in the last couple of seasons.

Still, ride that horse until it shows signs of fatigue.

Nobody can be last year's Loaiza....maybe if i started pitching, and had a CY young season next year. But nonetheless he is throwing great. I agree with New Zealand Fan, ride him til he cools.

The Red Sox had always considered him a great prospect. I don't think Loazia ever got that kind of compliment so I can't compare the two. And it isn't like Pavano pitched poorly last year, he did get the starting nod in the playoffs over Willis, so he did do something right last year. He just looks like a late bloomer. Will he be a consistent 15+ game winner for the next 5 years? I don't know, but I could see him winning 12-16 games and being very serviceable as a number 3 pitcher on a fantasy team.

Yeah, his GF is hot as well.
