I'd say your team is fine. You probably should improve at 3rd though! Just having Boone is pretty risky. See if Crede is available or maybe Hinske. I'd take both of them over Bonne anytime!

This is a very competitive league. There are very few third baseman available currently. Hildenbrand is available and I am attempting to pick him up to help my team. Boone is also eligible at SS so I could move him while Jeter is on the DL.

for a quick fix, valentin of the white sox may be available. he's red-hot hitting in front of big hurt and maglio. he's also 3b/ss eligible which could really help.

what about another closer? macdougal of the royals and biddle of the expos might help.

Why is Hillenbrand availible? He won't walk at all, but he's one of the good 3B. Get him if you can.

i dont know....boone may bring down avg. but 26-32 last year is nothing to sneeze at. hes got a rare 3B power-speed combination, which would even be better if SS were open.

hillenbrand, pick up now....after his hot 1st half trade him for an upgrade at some position that you are weak in at that time.
