Guess this puts a bit of a damper on the recent, quiet fantasy success of Lilly and Batista.

Delgado's coming back next week (hopefully). If he starts to hit, he can provide even more of an offensive boost than Wells. It's still a bummer to see a stud ballplayer and stand up guy like Venon go down with an injury.

This last injury has me questioning me whole draft strategy...
I targeted the following players for most in not all of my FB teams....
G.Anderson
P.Wilson

The Blue Jays believe that Vernon Wells will miss the next month due to pulled calf muscle.
This is a huge blow to Toronto's struggling offense. Without their two best hitters (Carlos Delgado remains out of action with an oblique muscle strain) the Jays batted the mighty Frank Menechino third against the Giants last night. No wonder they scored only two runs. Jun. 17 - 6:52 am et - Rotoworld
If this is true, the Jays are in deep trouble, not to mention the fantasy squad in first in my league!!! hehehe
