it's just something that someone close to the guy believes.
an acquaintance of mine, is/was good friends with matthew moses (the twins first round draft pick last year) and he thinks he could also evolve into a good player at the major league level.
joe mauers grandfather claims joe is gonna be the next .400 hitter, and that doesn't mean he's a complete moron..
