Bad Idea. The sox have enough good bats that they can afford to ease Trot back into the lineup. Even when he's back full time, I'd expect him to perform poorly to start, just as Nomar is now. Look for ~15 HRS, .280 AVG the rest of the way. No way you should drop Lee!

whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa! Yes I am a Sox fan and yes my user name is Trot Nixon but those numbers are too low for Mr. Trot. Obviously you haven't been watching any of the Sox games the past couple years, he's really come along and become one of there best hitters. He gets no publicity for his stats only because of Manny, Nomar and now Ortiz. Also, he is about as clutch as they come and whenever the team needed a big hit, either Ortiz or Trot delivered it for them. His return will mark the turning point of the season. (and this has been my opinion for awhile now, not just because he hit a homer today)
And by the way, Nomar is all washed up. He's never going to be the same Nomar again, quote me on this one. (But I hope it backfires on me THIS year) [/quote]
There is such a thing called clutch and David Ortiz is the modern day definition of it

regardless of what he will do for the rest of the season, if you play him right, he can be like a 50 home run hitter for you. If you start him only against righties, he's absolutely ridiculous. For a guy who should be a 3rd or 4th outfielder for your fantast team, he can be your 1st on a night he is facing a righthander.
Rest in peace Mitch Hedberg. I name my fantasy team "Buoyancy of Citrus", in your honor.
