If we can take one thing out of Griffey's season thus far, I'd say it's that we are reminded that a healthy Junior can produce!
Over the past few years, my impression of Junior is that his skills have dimished, but he's reminded me who he is

It's better than the .240 he was hitting a couple weeks ago...

Griffey's obviously not the player he was when he was younger but he does seem to have shown us infidels that he can still do some damage but hes been K'ing at the highest pace of his career and some say that hes getting too pull happy... also from a fantasy perspective his value will prolly go down somewhat if he gets dealt away form the Reds danger linup and their tiny little ballpark. also another thing.. dont buy high on him now.

Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

When will he hit 500? He needs to get over that milestone sooner than later; the longer it takes, the further his average will slip, as he'll eventually just start swinging for the fences every AB

An unanswered question is better than an unquestioned answer
