The Lakers didn't just lose. They got DOMINATED.

The only Laker I truly feel sorry for is Karl Malone. Payton's an old crybaby, Bryant's the most selfish player in the game, Shaq certainly did what he needed to do but he's also a whiner, and PJ's skipping town. Bryant will probably go to Memphis and screw that team up too.

Superstars don't win championships. A team wins championships. Look at Portland in 1977. I hope Malone gets one more shot, I really do. Because he's deserved it.

I agree that I'd like to see him get a ring, but there is no player that "deserve's to get a ring".

Kinda reminds me of ray bourque. I was so happy when he got a ring even though it was with Colorado, the whole city of Boston was happy for him. I feel its the same way with Malone and his fans in Utah. I really hope he will get a ring, but hes got to find a different team. I have always hated the Lakers, but I love Kobe. Hes just too good, I realize hes somewhat selfish but the shots he makes are amazing.

For me I didn't really care who one, being a Celtics fan I hate both the Lakers and Detroit. I will never be able to get rid of the Lambier images, and for that I was slightly rooting for LA just because they always beat the Celts with some class.
