It was only a matter of time. Oh and Ken Griffey is going down next week, partly because it must be in his contact and also because he was on the cover of SI last week :-o

I agree with you, Cubs fan. This was one of those "sell high" guys while he was soaring. The guy has a history of health problems. I traded Cliff Floyd and Jim Edmonds for Vernon Wells one week into the season and I have never looked back. Get rid of health risks when you can.

Give Yahoo some time. The Yanks just put him on the DL today. As for Brown, he'll be fine. He was declining a bit because of his injury. This is more of a safegaurd. He'll come back fine.

I agree. This is his yearly 15 day DL stint. He's 39. He's not going to be 100% all year. When he pitches, though, he'll pitch well. Look for him to come back fine.
