Again, how can Zambrano be put in the top-5? I still don't see him as a top-10 pitcher. I've named 10 pitchers I'd rather have and no one disputed the names, so I don't see how Zambrano can be top-5.
alright im calling you out, yankee boy. name 10. I put Zambrano at worst 10-15th. And how did the astros kill him? He gave up 2 runs I really like Zambrano, and in September Zambrano got better last year, not worse. Hes a sinkerballer, so his pitch sinks more when hes tired. He usually racks up 6, 7 Ks a game, and has a low ERA. He still has some control issues occasionaly, but hes 23. My top 5 from here on out
1 Prior
2 RJ (not quite sure how long that knee will hold up)
3 Schmidt
4 Halladay
5 Pedro
Good list. I agree with most of it, though Vazquez is a little high. Except for the when healthy part about Brown and Oswalt. When are these guys ever healthy? Oswalt had groin problems last year, and now his side hurts this year. Brown has landed on the DL. Zambrano has pitched better than them for the first 2 months and hasnt had an injury history. Dont say "Oooh dusty bakers gonna tear his rotator cuff" or crap like that, just because he pitches over a 100 pitches a game. Whose arm has Baker blown out? There is no proof of a Zambrano injury history, but there is with Oswalt and Brown. Ill go like this, in order
1 Prior
2 RJ
3 Schmidt
4 Halladay
5 Pedro
6 Wood
7 Schilling
8 Mulder
9 Hudson
10 Clemens
11 Vazquez
12 Zambrano
13 Beckett
14 Oswalt
15 Brown
CubsFan- Although I admit it looked to be in order, which RJ, Prior etc at the top, that was not my rankings. It was only a list of pitchers I'd rather have than Zambrano.
If I were to rank them, I'd probably go:
1. Prior
2. RJ
3. Schmidt
4. Halladay
5. Schilling- assuming healthy
6. Pedro
7. Vazquez- yes, I believe he's this good. 20 Wins, great WHIP, should have good K's
8. Wood- somehow has never won more than 13 I think it is
9. Hudson
10. Mulder
11. Oswalt
12. Mussina
13. Beckett
14. Zambrano
15. Brown
16. Morris, maybe Clemens, but I still don't think he can keep it up and be a top-15 pitcher
Zito is right after these guys.
Editted to include Mussina

Oops, my bad, I can't believe I forgot to put Moose in

Haha, no problem, I thought there was something strange about that.
I agree with your overall rankings by the way, I would personally swap a few people here and there, but overall, very close to mine.
