Is It Just Me... (Garret Anderson Post)

...or did Garret Anderson have a pretty decent game tonight?

3 H, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 R, 1 CS

That's 7 points in my H2H league, and that's not too shabby at all.

My newswire subscription service has been saying that Anderson won't have a good year because he will have lost his groove (good logic). They said to trade high if he has a hot streak. What do you think? Bad logic?

the angels' announcers keep referring to him as a "natural" hitter. I live in the LA area and I have watched him play for a while, I saw him play today, for that matter... he looked good, his swing was there...
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

He's one of those guys that has always been good out of the spring-training gate. I wouldn't worry about him finding a groove. If you're worried about the arthritis, ask around. Maybe somebody can tell you about past players with the same problem. But don't worry about him finding that groove. He's just good enough that he doesn't need a break-in period.
